Navratri Free Eye Surgery Drive by Rajni Care Foundation
The auspicious festival of Navratri is not merely a symbol of faith and devotion; it also conveys a profound message of service, compassion, and humanity. During these sacred days, extending assistance to the needy alongside the worship of Goddess Durga is considered an act of great merit. Upholding this very spirit, the Rajni Care Foundation (RCF) organized yet another inspiring social service initiative this Navratri.
Through the efforts of the Rajni Care Foundation, free eye surgeries were facilitated for 21 elderly individuals in need. These surgeries were successfully conducted by the renowned surgeon Dr. A.K. Gupta at Sarojini Eye Hospital, Lucknow. The objective of this campaign was to restore clear vision to those elderly individuals who, due to financial constraints, had been unable to seek treatment for their eyes for a long time.
Many of these elderly individuals were grappling with cataracts and various vision-related ailments. Through RCF's free cataract surgery program, they not only underwent successful operations but were also provided with proper post-operative care, counseling, and essential medical facilities. The smiles and expressions of contentment that lit up the faces of the elderly after their surgeries stand as the greatest achievement of this service endeavor.
It is noteworthy that the Rajni Care Foundation has consistently organized such free eye surgery camps in the past as well. The organization strives to extend healthcare services to the widest possible number of needy individuals in society, ensuring that financial constraints never become a barrier to anyone's medical treatment.
For several years now, the Rajni Care Foundation has been actively engaged in numerous initiatives related to healthcare, education, and humanitarian service for the underprivileged sections of society. The organization firmly believes that if members of society come forward to support such initiatives, assistance can be extended to an even greater number of people in need.
This service initiative, undertaken on the auspicious occasion of Navratri, conveys a powerful message: true devotion is that which manifests itself in the selfless service of humanity.
