Rajni Care Foundation organized a Free Eye Check-Up and Cataract Surgery Camp in March 2026 for elderly and underprivileged members of society. The entire camp was conducted free of cost to ensure access to essential eye care services including examinations, cataract surgeries, and free spectacles distribution.
2. Registrations Total number of registrations: 234 individuals,
Surgeries 34 patients were identified for free cataract surgery after detailed eye examinations. Out of these, 21 patients agreed to undergo the surgery.
3. Cataract Screening and
Cataract check-up and surgeries were conducted by Dr. Anchal Kumar Gupta (Ophthalmologist).
4. Free Spectacles Distribution 66 patients were selected for free spectacles. All selected patients received brand new spectacles free of cost after accurate measurement of their eyesight
Vision testing was conducted by Mohd. Javed Khan (Optometrist)
5. Surgery Facility and Procedure The cataract surgeries were performed at Sarojini Nagar Eye Hospital near Amausi Airport, Lucknow, All patients were assisted throughout the procedure including transportation and medical support.
Surgery Technique Used: Aspheric PMMA Lens Implantation along with all necessary medicines.
