On 29th June 2025, Rajni Care Foundation (RCF) reached yet another milestone in its journey of compassion and service by organizing a heartfelt seva activity at an old age home in Kolkata. This initiative was dedicated to supporting around 90 elderly residents, many of whom live in solitude and rely entirely on the kindness of others for their everyday needs. Understanding both their emotional and physical requirements, the RCF team stepped in with thoughtful care and empathy.

The Kolkata RCF team distributed needful items and eatables—including essential groceries, dry ration, and daily-use items—to ensure comfort and support for the elderly residents. These contributions were made after understanding the specific needs of the individuals living there, aiming to restore a sense of dignity and ease in their lives. What may seem like simple essentials to many, were received with deep gratitude by the elderly, who often go unnoticed and unheard.

Beyond material support, the team made sure to connect with the residents on a personal level. In an emotionally uplifting gesture, RCF volunteers performed a soulful singing session, filling the home with music, joy, and shared memories. Old familiar songs, bhajans, and light-hearted melodies created an atmosphere of warmth and nostalgia. The room was lit up with smiles, tapping feet, and gentle claps—signs that even a few minutes of connection can bring light into someone’s day.

This event stood as a reminder that what an elderly person truly seeks is not just aid, but attention, conversation, and a few moments of happiness. Rajni Care Foundation remains devoted to fulfilling these needs with humility and dedication. With every such effort, the Foundation continues its mission to serve humanity and create a kinder, more inclusive society where no one feels forgotten.
